Informative Annexes in the Updated ANSI B11.19 standard

Throughout this white paper series, we’ve addressed many modifications and improvements made to the fourth edition of the standard. The many enhancements in the ANSI B11.19 were done so with the intention for it to become an effective complement to the risk assessment process. This was accomplished by providing a more holistic list of risk reduction measures and associated requirements. On top of the nearly 200 pages of the standard, an additional 100 pages of informative annexes are also included. This content is updated and added to provide useful support for the reader.

With this recent update of the ANSI B11.19 Standard, we’d like to provide you an overview of how this new standard may affect your facility and what you can do to stay compliant. In this six part white paper series, each paper will highlight a different aspect of the newest edition of the standard. In this sixth white paper, we’ll discuss the informative annexes in detail.
